The Analysis of the Black Painting of Francisco Goya adopting the Subjectivation of Jacques Lacan through the Appreciation of Art Works

Abstract
This study will bring light on a psycho-analysis method byintroducing Jacques Lacan¡¯s theory and practice of subjectivation through appreciation of art works. The method of study is the literature research. Specifically Lacan's art theory is used. This study relies on Lacan's Literature texts, Seminar 11, Seminar 23, and Ecrits. The Goya's works analyzed for this study are three works of ¡®The Black Painting¡¯ and two other works. The conclusion of this study is as follows. The goal of Lacan's psychoanalytic art therapy is the subjectivation which is realized through the transition from alienation to separation, the crossing of phantasy, and the identification of sinthome. The Goya's works is an independent text in Lacan¡¯s psychoanalytic art therapy. It becomes the object of talk to the subject of as the gaze. The appreciation of Saturn Devouring One of his Children and Duel with Cudgels facilitates the subject make the transition from alienation to separation, The appreciation of The Dog and Goya¡¯s Self Portrait with Dr. Arrieta facilitates the subject to realize the crossing of phantasy and the identification of sinthome. This study provides the theoretical data to expand the scope of role of the art part and upgrade the position of the subject as the appreciation of the art works in art therapy. In addition, the value of Goya's works expands in the psychoanalytic practice and our lives. This study can make theoretical and practical contribution to the subjectivation of our lives.
